FFUMC’s ‘Modern Worship Gathering’ set for July 23 & Aug. 27

Fayetteville First UMC members are invited to get to know others in the church family and community and worship in a modern setting at the next Food and Fellowship gatherings on Sundays, July 23 and Aug. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Those attending are asked to bring food to share at a potluck-style dinner if they can, but food is not necessary.

Carson Thaxton and others will lead a time of worship together following dinner.

A nursery is provided for children three and under. Older children are invited to participate in group worship and then their own worship time.

Future gatherings include Sept. 24 and Oct. 22.

The church is at 175 Lanier Ave. in downtown Fayetteville across the street from the historic courthouse.
