Ronald “Ron” James Lynch, 63 of Altamonte Springs, Fla. (formerly of Fayetteville, Ga.) passed away on May 1, 2017, from injuries sustained in a fall on April 16, 2017.

Ron was a kind and considerate man who was well loved and respected. He left a lasting impression on all who came in contact with him in his personal and business life. He was a devoted son, parent and grandparent. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his children and granddaughter. They were the loves of his life. His sweet demeanor and kind nature will be missed by his family and friends.

Ron was born June 26, 1953 in Fayette County, Georgia. He graduated from Fayette County High School in 1971 and Georgia State University in 1976. He joined Crum and Forster Insurance in 1976 and moved all over the southeast as he advanced within the company. He retired as Regional Vice President in 2006. He later worked for Insurance Company of the West and retired again in 2013.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Lynch and his wife Alei of Clermont, Fla.; his daughter, Elisabeth (Beth) Lynch of Hollywood, Fla.; granddaughter, Avalei Lynch and his parents, James and Rebecca Lynch of Fayetteville, Ga.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 2 p.m. at Woolsey Baptist Church, 115 Hampton Road, Fayetteville, Ga. with Rev. Chuck Chambers and Rev. Edward Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. prior to the service.
