Flipper Chapel anniversary
The Flipper Chapel A.M.E. male Chorus will celebrate its anniversary with music on April 29 at 5 p.m. The celebration will come to a close on Sunday, April 30, when Bro. Germaine Herrington will bring the message at the 11 a.m. service and the Rev. Anthony Slaughter and the St. John A.M.E. Church of Atlanta will be the guest pastor and church at 2:30 p.m. The theme is: “Men working toward God’s greater good.” Ephesians 6:10-13. Flipper Chapel is located at 175 Booker Ave., Fayetteville. The Rev. Kimberly Lyons is the host pastor.

Shred Day at NHBC is May 6
National Heights Baptist Church will host its 6th annual Shred Day on Saturday, May 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. at 103 Old Norton Rd., Fayetteville (corner of Old Norton Road and Ga. Highway 54).  There is no charge to the public for shredding, but donations will be accepted. Global Shredding will perform this service on site. Documents and papers acceptable for shredding include outdated or sensitive information and other personal documentation. Staples or paper clips do not have to be removed but documents should be taken out of binders and notebooks. Stephen Ministry
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City offers Stephen Ministry to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to people who are going through a difficult time. Catholics as well as non Catholics are eligible to receive care. A Stephen Minister is a well-trained caregiver who listens, cares, prays, and encourages during a time of need.  Care is confidential and free.
