Top photo above, the grounds of the historic courthouse in downtown Fayetteville were transformed into an Easter egg wonderland on April 15, as uncounted children and parents scarfed up the large supply of colored eggs. The event, which also included entertainment and inflatables, was sponsored by the city and the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Meanwhile, in the other photo, the Peachtree City Optimist Club and the city firefighters were out in force April 15 for the annual egg hunt at Shakerag. But they were outnumbered by the vast numbers of kids, with parents in tow, who scooped up thousands of brightly-colored eggs. Photos/Ben Nelms.
