Brian and Leanne Farrington of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Corrie Elyse Farrington, to Anderson Caldwell Mills, son of Sidell and Kent Tilghman of Gainesville, Ga.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Eleanor Koon and the late Pete Koon of Fayetteville. She is also the granddaughter of Eleanor Farrington and the late Bernie Farrington of Newnan.

Corrie is a 2010 graduate of Whitewater High School in Fayetteville and received her bachelor’s degree in middle grades education in 2014 from The University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. She plans to graduate with her master’s degree in gifted education from The University of Georgia next spring. She currently is a seventh grade science teacher at West Hall Middle School in Oakwood.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Craig Caldwell of Bristol, Tenn. He is a 2000 graduate of T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson, S.C. He graduated in 2009 from the college of Charleston with a business administration degree. He graduated in 2012 from Georgia State with a masters of business administration and masters of science in managerial sciences. He also currently teaches at West Hall Middle School as a seventh grade math teacher in Oakwood.

The wedding will be May 27, 2017 at Sugar Hill Church in Buford.

The couple will reside in Flowery Branch.
