Free finance class offered
Shekinah Glory Fellowship Center is offering a free four-week finance class on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m during the month of March.  Class materials including workbook are free as well. Classes will be held at  Shekinah Glory Fellowship Center, 1381 Ga. Highway 85 North, Fayetteville.  This class is free and open to the public. COS announces Ash Wednesday plans
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will offer two services on Ash Wednesday, March 1. These services, at 12:15 and 6:30 p.m., will usher in the season of Lent, where introspection and repentance are encouraged. Corporate confession, the optional imposition of ashes reminding Christians of their mortality, and Holy Communion will be included. The evening service will be preceded by a potluck soup supper at 5:30 in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome.

Perlieu Stew set for March 4
Bethany United Methodist Church will serve its traditional Perlieu Stew on Saturday, March 4, from noon until 3 p.m., or until all stew is sold. The church is at 607 Rivers Rd. (intersection of Milam, Rivers and Lee’s Lake roads) in north Fayette County.

Men’s study starts March 8 at PUMC
Providence United Methodist Church will offer a new six-week men’s study beginning March 8 at 6:30 p.m. Discover how to move past posturing and uncertainty and find answers to the six questions men often deal with.  Order the book for $9 from Leslie Lunsford. Providence to present ‘Glory Days’
Reserve your seats for March 17th’s  free candlelit evening of acoustic music, coffee and dessert at Providence United Methodist Church. The praise band will share old and new gospel music, featuring “The Mad Violinist,” Ashanti Floyd. Providence offers early service
From March 19 through April 16, Providence United Methodist Church will offer a 45-minute service at 8:30 a.m.  on Sundays. The service will feature acoustic music and a message from the pastor. Providence is at  592 Bernhard Rd., Fayetteville.

St. Christopher’s tea planned for April 1
The Philoptochos (Friends of the Poor) of St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church is sponsoring a Tea on Saturday, April 1, at 1 p.m.  All proceeds support local and national Philoptochos Charities.  Tea will be held at St. Andrews in the Pines Episcopal Church at 316 N. Holy Trinity offers Stephen Ministry
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City offers Stephen Ministry to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to people who are going through a difficult time. Catholics as well as non Catholics are eligible to receive care. A Stephen Minister is a well-trained caregiver who listens, cares, prays, and encourages during a time of need.  Care is confidential and free.
