Once again, I would like to thank the citrizens of Fayette County for everything you did to provide our littlest warriors a very Merry Christmas. This year, your generosity filled Santa’s bag at Wilson Elementary School at Ft. Benning, and made Christmas possible for 10 worthy military families and one wounded warrior from the VA. You represent the true spirit of giving.
In particular, I would like to acknowledge Mimi’s Good Food and Y-Knot Sports Bar for allowing us to place toy boxes in their establishments, and for all of their patrons for filling them up. I would also like to thank Clothes Less Traveled Thrift Store for their generosity.
This Christmas marked the 15th year of Embracing Military Families’ mission. And while my mission to help our military families will never end, I will no longer be doing it under the auspices of Embracing Military Families as a 501(c)3 corporation.
I have loved every minute of the amazing work we have done together and the incalculable joy we have given countless children and their families, and will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
