Sheryl Kay Rutland Gorman, 67, passed away in her home on November 25, 2016 surrounded by her family.
She was born January 23, 1949 in Memphis, Tenn., and lived in Peachtree City and Senoia for the last 28 years.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Richard Gorman and their 4 children (and their spouses) who were her greatest accomplishment, Stacy Rebel Fisher (Jeff), Michael Rebel (Pamela), Jesse Gorman (Sara), and Casey Gorman (Jolie). She had 5 grandchildren who she dearly loved, Ashley Fisher, Tristan Fisher, Adriana Gentry, Charlotte Gorman, and Ben Gorman and brother, David Rutland. She also is survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Milton and Jenelle Rutland and her sister, Jill Rutland Smith.

She was raised in Memphis and attended college in Arkansas and Florida. She worked in advertising, was an artist and most recently a florist in Senoia. Kay was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Kay will be remembered for her smile and her dedication and love of her family.

A memorial Celebration of Life service is planned for 4 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016, at the Senoia United Methodist Church followed by a reception from 5-7 pm in the fellowship hall.
