Ryan James Ewing, 23, of Fayetteville, passed away on November 15, 2016.
He was born on March 29, 1993 in Stockbridge, Georgia and was a 2011 graduate of Fayette County High School. Ryan was very respectful, fun-loving, a loyal friend and loved his family and friends. He was a free spirit who was very artistic, blew glass and skateboarded in his spare time. He was self-employed in the landscaping field.
Ryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joyce S. Waller and his paternal grandfather, James F. Ewing, Sr. He is survived by his mother, April Waller Baker (Steven); his father, James Jay Ewing, Jr. (Haley Hirsch); his sister, Kathryn “Katie” Ewing; his brother, Tyler Baker; his maternal grandparents, John G. Waller (Anh); his paternal grandparents, Janelle Ewing Steele (Jim); several aunts, uncles and cousins; and close friends, Derek Sherwood, Lindsey Carnicky and Isa Martin.
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with John Waller, III officiating. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday evening, November 19, 2016 at the funeral home.
