Jack Lamar Dickson, 71, of Fayetteville passed away on November 9, 2016 in Atlanta, Ga.
He was born on October 31, 1945 in Fayetteville, Ga. to Lamar and Gladys Dickson. Jack loved racing and worked as a body shop and frame mechanic for many years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sherilyn Gail Dickson.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia D. Cupp (Kerry); his sons, Mark Dickson (Karen), David J. Dickson and Brian Dickson (Katherine); seven grandchildren, one great-grandson; his brother, Donald Dickson (Connie); his sister, Myrna Ruth Turner (Douglas); and his twin brother, Jerry Dickson (Jane); and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Rev. Christopher E. Woodson officiating. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening, November 11, 2016 at the funeral home.
