ASAP is in the midst of its Trick-or-Treat for Tools campaign.
With displays in many local businesses and collection points at the Peachtree City Church of Christ, Holy Trinity & 1st Presbyterian, as well as St. George’s in Newnan, “another generous outpouring of compassion by the local community is underway again this year,” according to a spokesperson. “Thanks to everyone for supporting future auto mechanics, carpenters, welders, electricians, plumbers and builders who will benefit from your generous tool donations.”
A 20-foot shipping container of refurbished donated tools is scheduled to set sail to Haiti in the first week of November.
Volunteers are needed to help refurbish tools or work with the ASAP website and online video production.
