The Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary is seeking applicants for the Elizabeth Wilmot Bull Scholarship program. Only those individuals that are accepted into a Georgia College/University in a medically related program, with a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher, are eligible to apply for the scholarship valued from $500 to $1,000.

Applications will be available at colleges and high schools starting Nov. 25 and will be made available to the Piedmont Fayette Hospital (PFH) staff on the same date. The applications are due by Jan. 19, 2017.

“The Elizabeth Wilmot Bull Memorial Scholarship is given by the Georgia Hospital Association’s Council of Auxiliaries and Volunteers in memory of its founder,” said Ann Chappell, Piedmont Fayette Auxiliary’s Scholarship Chairperson. “As a member of this organization, it is our privilege to present this opportunity to students in our community.”

Applications will be available during normal business hours at the Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary office, 1279 Highway 54 West, third floor, in Fayetteville (next to Piedmont Fayette Hospital).

Since 1997, the Piedmont Fayette Auxiliary has provided scholarship opportunities and support for the hospital through its many fundraising activities. Members also provide volunteer support across a wide array of hospital service areas.
