Local DAR members serve at store

During the week of Oct. 10-17, the members of the Fayette-Starrs Mill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution celebrated the 126th anniversary of the founding of the DAR by giving service hours to The Clothes Less Traveled Thrift Store in Peachtree City.

Service was provided by Dian Cole in the clothing sorting area, by Madelyn Lee and Lynda Fields in the  the linen department, and by Becky West, Ginger Deraney, Sylvia Nolde and Dorothy Partridge in the book department.

The Clothes Less Traveled Thrift Store was chosen for service because of the many charitable organizations in our community that it supports, so that their service would in effect benefit the community at large and maximize our volunteer service.
