The string symphony at Bennett’s Mill Middle has been selected to perform in front of over 1,300 music educators from across the state at the annual Georgia Music Educators Association In-service Conference.

The Bennett’s Mill Middle String Symphony will perform Jan. 27 at 8:45 a.m. at the Classic Center in Athens.

In addition, two of the school system’s band directors, Dr. Myra Rhoden of Fayette County High and Jack Jean of Whitewater High, have been selected to conduct clinics where they will their expertise with colleagues from around the state.
