The fourth Interfaith Luncheon was recently hosted by the Peachtree City Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a thank you to all those who contributed to the Smart Lunch Smart Kid summer lunch program this past summer.

Approximately 120 guests attended the luncheon, including Methodists, Muslims, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Baptists and Catholics.

The program, a ministry of Action Ministries in Atlanta, provides lunches to children who have been on the free/reduced lunch program during the school year. An average of 750-800 lunches were made and delivered each day to Fayette County residents primarily, with the exception of one mobile home park just across the county line in Fulton County.
