Jerry Lane Davis, 76, of Newnan, passed away August 18, 2016.
Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Davis and parents, Noah & Guy Nelle Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Davis; sons, David Davis and Don (Tyrena) Davis; daughter, Dode (Jon) White; brother, Lamar (Liz) Davis; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 1 p.m., at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Rev. John Weber officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends bring gift cards for family members affected by the Baton Rouge flooding.
