Promise Place – the nonprofit agency serving victims of domestic violence and their children in Fayette, Spalding, Pike, and Upson counties – needs volunteers for its Teen Dating Violence Prevention program (middle and high school).

The program helps to educate middle and high school students in the Griffin Judicial Circuit and provide a resource to students to both prevent and end teen dating violence. The assistance of local volunteers helps make this program successful.

Volunteers can also assist with the 24-hour crisis hotline, child care, special projects, and administrative needs.

There will be a volunteer orientation Aug. 22 for anyone interested in becoming involved with Promise Place. For more information, email [email protected] or phone 770-461-3839 x165.
