With the hot weather and minimal rain, Peachtree City residents are reminded that there are year-round restrictions to outdoor water use.

Daily outdoor watering is allowed for purposes of planting, growing, managing or maintaining ground cover, trees, shrubs or other plants, but only between the hours of 4 p.m. and 10 a.m.

There is also a state mandated odd/even schedule for activities like pressure washing, automobile washing etc. This can be done on the following schedule:

  • Odd Addresses: Tuesdays/Thursdays/Sundays, 4 p.m.–10 a.m.

  • Even Addresses: Mondays/Wednesdays/Saturdays, 4 p.m.–10 a.m.

  • Residential car washing and pressure washing is not allowed on Fridays

Companies hired to pressure wash your home or wash your car can operate any day of the week.

If you have questions or concerns, Code Enforcement can be reached at 770-487-8866, at [email protected], or via the Code Enforcement Complaint Line at 770-631-2588 (Option 2, Option 2).  Anonymous complaints are accepted, but if you wish to have an update, please leave your name and contact information.
