Providence UMC will offer Centershot Archery classes to students from eight  years to college age from  3:30 – 5 p.m. on Sundays beginning June 5.

“This is a wholesome activity where students come out to learn and improve archery skills,”  Tom Lewis, the Centershot coordinator for Providence explains. “No matter how big or small, whether they are in fourth grade or 12th grade, male or female, students will learn how to use a bow and arrow and how to make Christ the target of their lives.”

Senior Pastor Diane Parrish adds, “Our first class was a huge success, so we are looking forward to having even more students try Centershot. We know parents are looking for wholesome  Christ-centered  activities for their students over the summer, so Centershot is perfect for that!”

To register go to provumc.com and click on myProvidence or pick up forms in the church lobby. Class dates are June 5, 12, 26;  July 10, 17, 24.  The $65 cost includes the use of archery equipment, materials & a T-shirt. Class is limited to 40 students.
