McIntosh students are Merit Scholars

Graduating McIntosh High School seniors Amelia Traylor and Joshua Trebuchon have been named National Merit Scholarship winners, with each receiving a $2,500 scholarship from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

They are among 2,500 scholar winners nationwide who were chosen from a talent pool of more than 15,000 outstanding finalists in the 2016 National Merit Scholar Program. Both Traylor and Trebuchon plan to major in engineering.

National Merit $2,500 Scholarship winners are the finalists in each state judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
