Essay winners announced

Griffin Judicial Circuit District Attorney Scott Ballard has announced that Anna Wilson from Kedron Elementary, Hannah Wallace from Peeples Elementary, Janae’ Walker from Burch Elementary, Michae Wade from Crabapple Lane Elementary, Katherine Shriner from Cleveland Elementary, Elysia Samuels and Samara Conrelius from Fayetteville Elementary, May Jensen from Peachtree City Elementary, D’Andray Charles from Springhill Elementary and Sarah Bender from Braelinn Elementary  have  been selected as winners in the 10th annual Fifth Graders Law Enforcement Appreciation Essay Contest for Fayette County.

The contest is open to all fifth-grade students in the Griffin Judicial Circuit, which includes Fayette, Spalding, Pike, and Upson counties.

All winners will be honored May 17 at the District Attorney’s Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet in Fayetteville.
