Students in Debbie Forrester’s Intro to Digital Media classes at Fayette County High were invited to design the team T-shirt for the Fayette County Special Olympians who will be competing in the 2016 Georgia Summer Games at Emory University in May.

A panel of local judges determined the top five designs, which were submitted to the Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department for final judging.

Senior Parinia Patel’s design was selected as the winner, and her signed artwork will be printed on all of the 2016 Fayette County Special Olympics T-shirts.

Students whose artwork was also included in the top five designs submitted for final judging were Justin Joseph, Tristen Petty, Jaylon Rhodes, and Nathanial Woodard.

“Great job to all of these students for their fabulous work, and for making the judging an extremely difficult task,” said teacher Debbie Forrester.
