A Peachtree City man has been arrested in connection with burglaries and attempted burglaries on April 8 in Fayette and Fulton counties in which he drove the get-away vehicle.

Sean F. Olson, 50, of Newgate Road, was charged with one count of burglary and one count of criminal attempt to commit burglary, according to Sheriff Barry Babb.

Olson was the driver of the Mitsubishi Montero Sport in both incidents, Babb added.

Investigators are searching for a second man, a black male, who entered the businesses, said Babb.

The burglaries, all of which occurred in April 8, included the BP station on Corinth Road in east Fayette, Coleman’s Texaco on Ga. Highway 92 North along with one in the Tyrone area and another in Fairburn, said Babb.

Tyrone Police Department spokesman Philip Nelson said Olson is a person of interest in the attempted burglary of the BP station on Ga. Highway 74 and Tyrone Road.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office at 770-461-6353.
