Fayette County Post 105 of The American Legion continues its long tradition of honoring top performing law enforcement and fire/emergency service personnel from all across Fayette County during their 2016 Public Safety Awards dinner.

From left are Detective Scott Israel, Fayetteville Police Dept.; Deputy Tabatha Denson, Fayette County Sheriff’s Dept.; Lt. Ken Ralls, Peachtree City Police Dept.; Firefighter Stephaene Core, Firefighter of the Year, Fayetteville Fire Dept.; Firefighter Wendell Madison, Fayette County Fire & EMS; and Chief Joe O’Conner, representing Firefighter Joshua Himes, Peachtree City Fire Dept. who is currently on duty with the U.S. Navy.

Fayette County Post 105 meets at the Log Cabin in Fayetteville the second Monday of the month.
