Permits waived for grad signs

The graduation season is rapidly approaching, and Peachtree City is waiving the $30 fee for graduation signs/banners at subdivision entrances between May 1 and June 12.

Banners cannot exceed 35 square feet and must be attached to stakes (not fences, trees, utility poles, or signs). Banners cannot go in the right-of-way or medians, and cannot obstruct vehicular or pedestrian traffic or visibility.

Graduation signs in private yards do not require permits, but also have size and placement restrictions.
