Chabad of Peachtree City invites the community to join them as they observe Pesach (Passover) with services and events planned for April 22-30. The Jewish people celebrate Passover as a commemoration of their liberation by God from slavery in Egypt and their freedom as a nation under the leadership of Moses. Local services will be held at 219 Kelvington Way, Peachtree City.
A communal Seder will be held on April 22 at 7:45 p.m. The cost is $40 per adult, $20 per child age 7-12 years, or $100 per family. Children 6 years and under eat free.
Seating is limited. Only 45 seats available. Please RSVP as soon as possible to guarantee a seat.
For location information and reservations email rabbi@chabadsouthside.com or call 678-595-0199.
A Seder also will be held on the second night of Passover, Saturday, April 23, beginning at 9:30 p.m. For more information, contact rabbi@chabadsouthside.com or call 678-595-0199.
“Festive Moshiach Meal” will be served on the last day of Passover, Saturday, April 30, at 7 p.m., seeing the festival out. The event will include four cups of wine, with Matzah and snacks (no bitter herbs). This is free of charge.
Rabbi Yossi Lew commented: “As we approach the festival of Passover, we think of family. Perhaps from years gone by, or maybe not so long ago. Perhaps even from last year’s celebration. We also tend to think about the laws, customs and traditions associated with the festival and what this holiday represents to us personally and as a People.
“Chabad of Peachtree City wants you to know that everyone in our community is family. And all the laws, customs, and traditions, are honored, with a sense of pride, joy and gladness.
“We therefore invite you to join us at our annual communal Seder, and to take advantage of our Passover-related services and events. I wish you and your family a kosher and happy Passover.”
