Mr. Norman “Lawrence” Earnest, age 79, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ava Tully Earnest; his parents, John Bowen and Inez Merkinson Earnest; brothers, Ralph Earnest, Henry Earnest, Dockie Earnest, Rev. Curtis Earnest and his sister, Allene Allday.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Earnest of Fayetteville; son, Dewayne Earnest and his wife Larissa of Griffin; daughter, Norma Earnest Miller and her husband, David of Fayetteville; sister, Jeanette Earnest Miller of Reynoldsville; grandchildren, Eric Miller and his wife, Erin of Fayetteville, Johnathan Miller of Fayetteville, Ashleigh Hardee and her husband, Brandon of Senoia, Kayla Chapman of Tyrone, Connor Chapman of Tyrone; great grandchildren, Elijah Miller, Ezekiel Miller, Ava Hardee and Skylar Hardee; step-children, Kevin Chapman and his wife, Leslie of Tyrone, Britt Chapman of Tyrone.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God Church 3606 Spring Creek Rd., Brinson, Ga. 39825, with remains placed in state at 1 p.m. Rev. Eric Miller will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Assembly of God Church Cemetery.
