Homer Anderson Lewis, Jr., 89, of Fayetteville, passed away on March 15, 2016.
Mr. Lewis proudly served his country in the European Theater during World War II by serving in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Camilla Kelley Lewis and his parents, Homer Anderson Lewis, Sr. and Estelle Barronton Lewis. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Lewis McFall (Paul); his son, Doug Lewis (Jane); his grandchildren, Ginny McFall Figel (Paul), Ron Smith (Karen), and Alex Lewis (Karen); his great-grandchildren, William, Emma, Leah, Sarah, Kaden and Ashton; and his brothers, Gene Lewis (Mary) and William Lewis (Peggy).
Funeral services were held Friday, March 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Pastor Mike Ellison officiated. Burial followed at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family received friends on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 6 – 8 p.m.
