The community is invited to Providence United Methodist Church’s free Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 19, from 2-4 p.m. in the Children’s Building. Games and Easter crafts begin at 2 p.m. while egg hunts for ages 0-2 years, 3-4 years, K-second grades, and third through fifth grades begin at 3 p.m.
Tracy Williamson, director of children’s ministries at Providence, says, “We are excited to welcome the community to this event and know all of the children will enjoy the crafts and activities as we get our hearts ready for Holy Week.”
The invitation to the community also includes Palm Sunday worship services on March 20 when children open 9:30 a.m. traditional worship and 11 a.m. contemporary service with the waving of palms and singing, “Hosanna!”
