Barbara Jean Griffith of Peachtree City passed away February 20, 2016 from a cancer related illness. She was 84. She was born June 22, 1931 in Chickasaw, Ohio. Barbara was a committed and loving member of the Evergreen Church and had so many good friends there. She also spent so much of her life taking care of her family.
Her death was preceded by her husband Arlie, sister Alice, brother Donald, brother Eddie and sister Jackie. She is survived by her sister Janice Heffner; daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Jon Hurlbutt; daughter and son-in-law Mickey and Wade Patrick; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Kim Griffith. Barbara was very proud of her 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Evergreen Church on Friday, March 4, 2016 at five p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Evergreen Church of Peachtree City, 400 Windgate Road, Peachtree City, Ga., 30269, in memory of Barbara Griffith.
