Would you like to volunteer in your community? Do you have a particular area of interest or expertise? Peachtree City is accepting applications for volunteer, non-paying terms on several boards:
• Recreation & Special Events Advisory Board – 1 member position available and 1 alternate available.
• Airport Authority – 1 member position and 1 alternate available.
• Water & Sewerage Authority – 1 member position available and 1 alternate available.
• Convention & Visitors Bureau – 3 positions available (one representative from the Hotel/Motel industry, one representative from the retail industry, and one business owner).
Applications and more information about each posting are available at City Hall and at http://peachtree-city.org/jobs.aspx (under Volunteer / Non-Employee Positions). Applications are due to City Hall by 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22.
