Sandra Gordon, a Fayetteville resident, was recently named to the YMCA of Metro Atlanta board.
Gordon is vice president of in-flight operations for Delta Air Lines where she began her career as a flight attendant, and then quickly rose through the ranks learning the detailed specifics of the airline operations with emphasis on the In-Flight Services department. Her 23 years of working in and focusing on customer service issues will be very valuable to the Y.
She is one of three new board members, joining other community leaders who have served the organization since 1858. Each board member serves a three-year term with no term limits.
