Judith Faye Edmiston (Lamplugh), of Peachtree City, Ga., went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2016.  

Judy was born in Pennsylvania on January 5, 1939.  She was the youngest child of John and Nida Lamplugh. She grew up in Linwood, Pa. and graduated from Chichester High School and then Columbia Bible College.  For thirteen years, Judy and her family lived in Connecticut where Judy worked at the Hartford Insurance Company.  The family moved to Georgia in 1985 where Judy worked for the State with the Department of Aging.  Judy and her family were active members of Coventry Presbyterian Church in Connecticut (where Judy regularly played the piano and the guitar) and Covenant Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Joan Cannon (Lamplugh).

Judy is survived by her husband of 52 years, the Reverend Robert Edmiston; her daughters, Karen Edmiston and Holly Melton; her grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Madeline, Adam, and Mae; and her brothers Jack and Bob.  

A memorial service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville, Ga. on Saturday, January 23.  Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m., and a service will take place at 3:30.
