Mr. Harold Goza, 86, of Fayetteville, died December 18, 2015.
He was a long-time member of Harps Crossing Baptist Church and was retired as a postal police officer. He was a proud US Marine, a former Post Commander with the American Legion, Post 105, and a member of the Marine Corp League.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Betty G. Goza; daughter Carol Robinson of Jackson, Ga.; daughter Sandra Lyle of Fayetteville; son H.T. “Tim” Goza of Florida; son Joe Goza of Peachtree City; step-son Larry Hightower of Tyrone; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 21, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Harps Crossing Baptist Church. He will lie in state at 1 p.m. Rev. Dennis Watson, Rev. Ken Helms and Rev. Keith Turner will officiate. Burial followed at Lisbon Baptist Church Cemetery, with military honors. The family received friends on Sunday from at the funeral home.
