Jerry Wesley Dorman, 64, passed away at the Golden Living Nursing Home in Decatur, Ga. on Thursday, December 3, 2015.  

Jerry served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was of the Methodist faith.  Jerry suffered a stroke in 2009 and was in a nursing home until the time of his death.  

He is survived by his sisters, Faye Knight (Scott) of Brooks, Ann Anderson (Lennie) of Cumming, Donna Ledbetter (Gary) of Jonesboro, Fay Efird (Johnny) of Barnesville, Betty Jean Cannon (W.C.) of Hampton, and Joyce Cooper of Fulton County.  He is also survived by his cousins Harry Lynch, John Lynch, Doug Lynch and Gary Lynch, all of Fayette County, Ga. and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.  

A graveside service was held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 4 p.m. at Fayetteville City Cemetery, with Pastor Mark Davis officiating.  The family received friends at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel from 3-3:45 p.m. prior to the service and will then go in procession to the cemetery.
