Seabolt honored for leadership

J.C. Booth Middle assistant principal Kayla Seabolt is the recipient of the Georgia Association of Middle School Principals (GAMSP) Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year Award for District 12.

The award is given each year to assistant principals in Georgia who have demonstrated strong leadership in guiding their schools as effective middle schools as defined by state and national standards.

Seabolt received the honor Nov. 9 at the GAMSP 2015 Annual Fall Conference in Savannah.

The Georgia Association of Middle School Principals is the organization of and state voice for middle grades school principals, assistant principals, and aspiring school leaders in Georgia. GAMSP is one of six educational leadership organizations affiliated with the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL).
