Jane Carne left our presence on Tuesday evening November 3, 2015 to be with our Lord and Savior.
Her charming and outgoing demeanor will be sorely missed by all who were privileged to know her. Jane’s love of music and children led her to a career as a music teacher in the Fayette County School System, having taught at both Tyrone Elementary and Spring Hill Elementary Schools. She was also an active choir member and children’s music director in earlier days at Grace United Methodist and Fayetteville First United Methodist Churches.
She leaves behind her husband, Dick, and their three special children: Cynthia Williams (husband Eric), Natalie Carne, and Andrew Carne. Other survivors include her parents Jim and Estelle Bell, brother Jim Bell (Leisha) of Birmingham, Ala., and sister Jean Dumas (Norman) of Crested Butte, Colo. She leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Grandchildren are Haleigh and Easton Williams.
Funeral services were held at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon Nov. 8th at 2 p.m.
