Linda S. Sellmer of Peachtree City

Linda S. Sellmer of Peachtree City passed away on November 3, 2015 at the age of 74.  

She was born in Washington, D.C. to Monty and Mary Schumacher on October 31, 1941. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed golf. Linda was a retired teacher with the Fayette County Board of Education and enjoyed tutoring after retirement. Her family was very important to her. She was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sue Ellen Schumacher.  

Linda is survived by her husband, John Sellmer; her daughter, Kim Johnson (Greg) of Peachtree City; her son, Curt Sellmer of Austin, Texas; her granddaughter, Alaina Johnson of Peachtree City; and her brother, Paul M. Schumacher of Atlanta.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City Chapel, with Chaplain Jim Weathers officiating.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, Southern Grace Hospice or to a charity of the donor’s choice in her memory.
