State regulations regarding outdoor burning typically allow such activity beginning Oct. 1 and lasting through the winter.

Peachtree City officials are urging residents to visit the city’s website to find out if burning is allowed on any given day as weather conditions could prohibit it that day. Permits can also be obtained online.

Visit www.peachtree-city.org/burn. For more information, contact the Fire Marshal’s Office at 770-631-2526.
