Janice Marie Fleugel passed away in Orlando, Fla. on August 2, 2015.

She was the daughter of John and Ruth Fleugel of Peachtree City, Ga. but had been residing in Orlando. Janice had a great love for learning and had attended Brigham Young University and the College of Charleston, S.C. and also Rollins College, Orlando. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Janice had worked for SunTrust Bank.

Janice enjoyed places like Charleston, Savannah and St. Augustine. She also enjoyed her yearly pilgrimage to the Florida Antiquarian Book Fair in St. Pete. She had a great love of history and literature and was attempting to read all of Charles Dickens’ works while going through chemo, a pursuit some literati would contend must have contributed to her death.

She will be greatly missed by her family: her mother, two sisters Ann and Laura, her brother-in-law Dale and sister-in-law Allyson and niece Emily and many friends. She is preceded in death by her father, her brother James and her nephew David.

Her family plans to have a celebration of her life at a later date in one of the many places she loved to visit. As a tribute to Janice, feed a stray or read a good book (although not Dickens of Course).
