Mrs. Margaret Rudin Dorough, age 91, died on August 27, 2015 after a lengthy illness.

Margaret was a long-time member of Fayetteville Christian Church and served that church with much love. She was a proud member of the US Navy during World War II. After her discharge from the Navy, Margaret served the Army as a civilian employee and retired after 25 years of service. The next twenty-five years saw her volunteering at a local hospital.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Luther D. and Luella Alexander Rudin, her sister Frances Miller, husbands Thomas Binkley and Lewis Dorough and son Thomas Luther Binkley, Sr.

Her survivors include Janet Binkley, Janice Boyd (Clint), grandchildren Tommy Binkley (Tammy), Traci Bednar (Sylvan), Joci Crea (Blaine), Terrell Boyd (Stacey), Christy Correll (Grat) and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving is Liz Bowen, her long-time friend and caregiver.

Margaret’s celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at 3 p.m., at Fayetteville Christian Church. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. prior to the service.
