Jay B. Vandiver, age 22 of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Jay was born in Stockbridge, Ga. on November 7, 1992. He was a member of Church of the Harvest. Jay always said, “me and God got this.” Jay loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his parents, Jay B. and Joyce Vandiver; brother, Jacob Vandiver; sister, Andreyana Walley; nieces, Makaylah and Mayah; grandparents, Scott Vandiver, Ella Ruth Vandiver, Glenda Harris; girlfriend, Maeghan Ramsey; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation for Jay Vandiver was Friday, August 21, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service was conducted on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Pothier and Pastor Henry Jones officiated. Interment followed in Ebenezer UMC Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ga.
