In loving memory of Patrick Charles Olguin, 67, of Fayetteville passed away August 8, 2015.
Mr. Olguin was born in Denver, Colo. to the late Claude & Elouise Olguin, he served his country in the U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Oriskany (CVA 34) during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Republic of Vietnam service medal with bronze star, national defense service medal, and the Navy unit commendation ribbon with bronze star. He was a boxing coach and won the 1968 all service nationals. Mr. Olguin retired from Delta Airlines after 32 years of service.
Mr. Olguin will best be remembered as a loving husband, father, pops, papa, and for being forever a peacemaker.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Arlene Olguin; son Gary Olguin; son Michael (Tiffany) Olguin; son Randolph Olguin; daughter Tammy (Daniel) Gee; son Brian (Jodi) Olguin; son Rocky (Stacy) Olguin; daughter Tracie (Kenell Johnson) Olguin; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and also brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel. The interment will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2015 at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Ga.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 12 to 2 p.m.at the funeral home.
