Rolling Hills’ Monday Mission serves homeless in Coweta

The youth group from Rolling Hills Baptist Church conducted a “Monday Mission” at Bridging the Gap Community Outreach in Newnan this week. The team worked hard packing bags of groceries for Bridging the Gap’s weekly food distribution to the homeless.

Monday Missions is a youth program conducted annually by Rolling Hills during school summer vacation. According to Senior Pastor Frank Mercer, Monday Missions is “an opportunity to put ‘Monday feet’ to Sunday’s words.”

Bridging the Gap is a non-profit organization that has been serving Coweta County families and individuals since 2009, distributing food, toiletries, and household items every week from its facility in Newnan.
