The Mayor, City Council, and staff in Peachtree City will hold a final budget workshop Tuesday, July 7, 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. Residents are welcome.
The public hearing on the finalized budget is currently scheduled for July 16, with the adoption of the Budget Resolution tentatively scheduled for a special called meeting Thursday, July 30. Legal ads and notices will be placed confirming these dates.
Peachtree City is required to submit the budget to the City Council 30 days prior to adoption and to have the budget available for public inspection prior to the hearing. The draft budget from June 15 is available at http://www.peachtree-city.org/councilagenda.
