Georgia State University graduated more than 5,700 students receiving bachelor’s, master’s and specialist’s degrees at the university’s spring and summer commencement on Saturday, May 9 in the Georgia Dome.

Here is a list of local students who earned master’s and doctorate degrees.

Michael Hettermann Jr. of Peachtree City graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Studies Education.

David Bozone of Peachtree City graduated with a Master’s Degree in Spanish.

Esther Lloyd of Riverdale graduated with a Master’s Degree in French.

Lauren Jones of Fayetteville graduated with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Christian Padgett of Fairburn graduated with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.

Shannon Demons of Fayetteville graduated with a Master’s Degree in School Counseling.

Bryant Goodridge of Fayetteville graduated with a Master’s Degree in Biology.
