Fayette County resident Miquela Skye Rivers graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a bachelor of fine arts degree in musical theatre. She will be moving to New York City this fall to pursue her dream of becoming a Broadway actress.

The Dean’s List for the spring semester at Reinhardt University includes junior Brittany Gaddy and sophomore Nicholas Medici, both from Fayetteville.

Angela M. Catucci and Christian D. Perry of Fayette County made the fall 2014 Dean’s List at South Georgia State College.

Michelle Randall of Grantville graduated from Troy University recently with a master of science in management degree from the Sorrell College of Business.

Spring graduates from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College include Nolan Cash of Fayetteville (turfgrass and golf course management, environmental horticulture technology); Madison Chmielewski of Moreland (natural resource management in wildlife); Allison Gordy of Sharpsburg (natural resource management in wildlife); and Marissa Mathis of Sharpsburg (nursing, with honors).

Bethany Somma of Fayetteville is a Fulbright Scholar from Duquesne University, having received a three-year research fellowship from the Munich School of Ancient Philosophy at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, starting in October, to produce her doctoral dissertation on late antique Greek and classical Arabic philosophy. She is tracing the development of non-rational notions – for example, desire and animals – to show how they are important to philosophy and human flourishing. She received her bachelor’s degree in philosophy and classics at Belmont University in Nashville.

This spring’s graduates at Wake Forest University include Aaron Glaize of Fairburn, Elizabeth Busby of Fayetteville, Barron Jeter of Moreland and Kristin McClure of Tyrone.

Allie Crain of Newnan has been named to Berry College Dean’s List for the spring semester.

Ashley Akerson of Fayetteville made the Dean’s List at Union University for the spring semester.

The President’s List at Union University for the spring semester includes Sarah Conklin of Brooks.

Jennifer Marie Kreulen of Peachtree City was recently named to the LaGrange College spring semester Dean’s List.

David McDaniel of Fayetteville was named to the Dean’s List at the University of Memphis for the spring 2015 semester.

Harding University’s spring 2015 Dean’s List includes Amber Adams of Tyrone, a junior biology major; William Ford of Fayetteville, a senior professional sales major; and Emily Parsons of Tyrone, a senior early childhood education major.

Amy Diffenderfer of Peachtree City was named to the Dean’s List at Anderson University for the fall semester.
