Beatles tunes featured at COS
To celebrate Pentecost on May 23-24, Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will use a special liturgy written by Pastor Fritz Wiese using tunes of The Beatles. All four services will take place in the fellowship hall. The service schedule is: Saturday at 6 p.m., and Sunday morning at 8:30, 9:45, and 11 a.m. The public is invited, especially Beatles fans.

SDA Church will host basketball camp
The Peachtree City Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 4957 Ga. Highway 34 East in Sharpsburg, will host a basketball camp June 15 – 19 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. for kids ages 9 – 13. The cost of the camp is $150 and includes lunch and a T-shirt. Kids will have a chance to improve their basketball skills while staying healthy and having lots of fun. Wheelchair Experience set for June 20
The public is invited to experience what it’s like to live life in a wheelchair at the “Wheelchair Experience” on Market Day, Saturday, June 20, from 11 a.m. – noon at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. A $5 donation benefits the Spina Bifida Association of Georgia. The church is in downtown Fayetteville across the street from the historic courthouse.
