Beatles tunes featured at COS
To celebrate Pentecost on May 23-24, Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will use a special liturgy written by Pastor Fritz Wiese using tunes of The Beatles. All four services will take place in the fellowship hall. The service schedule is: Saturday at 6 p.m., and Sunday morning at 8:30, 9:45, and 11 a.m. The public is invited, especially Beatles fans.

Holly Grove celebrates 118th
Holly Grove AME Church will host its 118th Church Anniversary on Sunday, May 24, at 10:30 am. Holly Grove AME Church is located at 400 Holly Grove Church Rd., Peachtree City.

SDA Church sets VBS dates
Peachtree City SDA Church’s VBS program “Expedition – Everest” will be held June 1 – 5 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. nightly.  Kids will embark on an icy expedition where they will overcome obstacles.  Register  at www.ptcsda.com. Woolsey hosts Fifth Sunday Singing
Woolsey Baptist Church will have a Fifth Sunday night song service, May 31 at 6 p.m. “Through the Storm” will be led by the church choir, other singers and musicians. CCWW schedules VBS
Registration is now open for Christ’s Church at Whitewater’s VBS  planned for June 1 thru June 5, from 9 a.m. until noon. The event will include age-appropriate Bible stories, experiments, games, crafts, snacks and songs, with the theme of SonSpark Labs. Flat Rock AME plans summer camp
Flat Rock A.M.E. Church, 148 Old Chapel Lane, Fayetteville, will have an Esteem, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math Summer Camp for sixth through eighth grade girls June 1 through July 29. The cost is $100 per week. Contact Dr. Vanessa Johnson, 770·856·3273, for information.

CTK plans VBS next month
Christ the King Church will have Vacation Bible School June 8-12 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. The theme this year is “Journey Off the Map.” The church is at 4881 Ga. Highway 34 East, Sharpsburg.

SDA Church will host basketball camp
The Peachtree City Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 4957 Ga. Highway 34 East in Sharpsburg, will host a basketball camp June 15 – 19 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. for kids ages 9 – 13.  The cost of the camp is $150 and includes lunch and a T-shirt.  Kids will have a chance to improve their basketball skills while staying healthy and having lots of fun.  Register online at www.ptcsda.com.

Wheelchair Experience set for June 20
The  public is invited to experience what it’s like to live life in a wheelchair  at the  “Wheelchair Experience” on Market Day, Saturday, June 20, from 11 a.m. – noon at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. A $5 donation benefits the Spina Bifida Association of Georgia. The church is in downtown Fayetteville across the street from the historic courthouse.

PUMC to offer Community Bible Study

Holy Trinity offers Stephen Ministry
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City offers Stephen Ministry to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to people who are going through a difficult time. Catholics as well as non Catholics are eligible to receive care.
