At this year’s McIntosh High School Senior Awards Ceremony, two graduating seniors were recognized by the Fayette County Post 105 of The American Legion with the presentation of their 2015 American Legion School Awards.
Chandler Birrell and Jackie Gray were selected by the faculty for their qualities of leadership, courage, honor, scholarship, service and patriotism.
Birrell received his award from Joe Bowler and Vince Compagno (Post 105 McIntosh liaison). Gray received her honor from Compagno.
Post 105 meets the second Monday of the month at the Log Cabin in Fayetteville.
