The Georgia Singers Company is presenting the musical “The Pajama Game” Friday, May 15, at 7 p.m. at Sams Auditorium, 205 Lafayette Ave (Tiger Trail) in Fayetteville. Two additional shows are scheduled for Saturday, May 16, at 1 and 7 p.m.

The story deals with labor troubles in a pajama factory in 1954 where workers’ demands for a seven-and-a-half cent raise are going unheeded. In the midst of this ordeal, love blossoms between Babe, the grievance committee head, and Sid, the new factory superintendent.

The Georgia Singers Company will also host a summer musical theater camp July 6-10 and 13-17 at the Peachtree City School of Dance. Camp will include team competitions, drama, choreography, music, character word of the day and recreation. Staff includes professionals from our production team and alumni students.

The two-week camp will end with a variety show with songs from many Broadway musicals. Ages 8-11 will attend from 9 a.m.-noon for $200 and ages 12-18 will attend from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. for $300. Registration information can be found at www.georgiasingers.org or call Rachel Green at 678-770-1660 for more information.
